Singing Bird Automaton Help Needed
I recently bought a West Germany marked, probably Karl Griesbaum singing bird and cage. Since it says West Germany, it is obviously post WWII. The mechanism and bird work fine, but the whistle is barely audible, suggesting the need for a bellows overhaul. Does anyone know of a source for replacement bellows? This is a wood bellows which is typical for the German birds. If no source of parts is available, does anyone know of a reliable person to restore the bellows? Any help would be appreciated. I can post pics if that would be helpful.

Contact Moe Goldy at: [email protected] and he can do the job. He is probably the best-known bird cage, bird box and automaton restorer in the U.S.
