FOR SALE: Original Unrestored Victor VI - $4,150 Update

For your consideration, I present to you this original unrestored Victor VI from an estate inheritance of a local university professor who passed at the age of 104. Other than a light cleaning and some minor repairs to the pivot, tone arm, and reproducer, the machine is in "as-found" condition. The original wood finish has some alligatoring but presents well. The original gold plating shows minor wear as would be expected but also presents well. Has a great horn decal. This Victor VI also plays great. Serial number 11607.

As of December 14th, this nice Victor VI is still available. Would make a great xmas present to yourself..!!!

UPDATE ON SHIPPING OR DELIVERY: I can arrange for insured shipping worldwide. I can also arrange for delivery to the Spring Wayne (NJ) Show or the Union (IL) Show in June. I will likely be at both events this year.

The photographs are well-lit and nicely done! This is a gorgeous machine, to my eyes; it shows its age in the condition of the original finish, which seems to have been lucky enough to attain a really nice, uniform crazing in the shellac. This will only need a slight, careful burnishing to make it glow deeply in the way that only an original, well cared-for finish can. Great provenance, too! I can understand why the old gentleman would have kept this to the end. I wonder if his parents were the original purchasers?

I won't ask you to e-mail photos, since I'm not in a position to buy this machine, but if you'd like to post more in this thread, I'm sure I'm not the only forum member who'd enjoy seeing them. Good luck with the sale!
