Melba pedestal deminsions

Hi guys
I m currently a student(very old student)on a furniture design and construction course. As part of this I m hoping to build a Melba pedestal (record cabinet) for my HMV model 24 external horn Gramophone.
I was wondering if anyone could give me the basic deminsions so I can make it as historically correct as I can, or maybe you may know someplace I could get them.

I see your post has not gotten much love so I thought I'd chime in...

I could get you some dimensions of a pedestal which looks like this:

However, the machine it has always been with I am told is NOT a "Melba" as I have known it my whole life, but in fact a "UK
G&T Monarch De Luxe #14." (As in the picture below.)

(Neither of the machines/pedestals shown are mine! Just internet examples I found.)

If you think it is the same I could take some measurements and post/send them. What do you think? Are they "rare" enough that if it looks like the one pictured, even though I always saw a Monarch (which was always call "the Melba") on top of it, does it have the dimensions you'd want?

EDIT: I just found a picture of the actual machine and part of the pedestal:

Also, I only have access to the pedestal in question, I do not own it. So perhaps a list of measurements ahead of time would be best, since I would not be able to measure it over and over again.

Hi Michael
First of all many thanks for your kind reply and appologies for the late repsonce from me. I ve been struck down with the flue & was nt checking up on a lot with the last few weeks.
I ve attached a power point slide with the main measurements I need to draw and make my own pedestal.
The one you ve shown looks exactly like what I m hoping to produce except I ll probably have a mahogany or similar finish instead of the black to tie in with my model 24.
I ve marked the measurements a,b,c,d etc so If you would nt mind just giving me a= !!! b=!!!.
For measurement A (the top board of the pedestal)if you could just give it as if it was a full square without the cutouts as I can figure these out myself afterwards (I think).
If you have a chance could you take a close up picture of the floral pattern on the door and front of drawer, I m hoping to get them laser cut into these panels but I need detailed pictures in order to do this (maybe email might be better to send these?).
I can assure you that I appreciate that this is quite a bit of work so thank you in advance.

For posterity here... (I will also 'PM' you many pictures showing other details, too much for this post.)

The dimensions I measured are as follows:

A = 19 ½" (front to back corners)
= 17 ½" (center to center) This was the hardest to interpret.
B = 39 ¾" (from floor)*
C = 11 ¼"
D = 25 ⅞"
E = 5 ¼" (to bottom of top deck)
F = 4 ¾"
G = 17" (center to center)
H = 1 ½"
I = 2 ½" (at top)
J = 2 5/16" (at top)
K = 3 ⅛" (from floor)*
*NOTE: Measures from floor (B&K) include ⅛" metal tack-style feet.

Hi Michael, that's everything I need thank you very much. I ll certainly put up the finished product, looking forward to (hopefully) getting the floral design etc cut into the timber so I ll put up pictures if that when U get them back.
