Re: WANTED: Edison DD Mute Ball
Will the mute ball assembly from a C-150 work? I have one of those in a box around here somewhere. If it'll fit your machine, I'll dig it out.

If you don't find one that will work here, George Vollema is almost sure to have it.

A mute ball from a C-150 may work, as it is a smaller machine as well.

Re: WANTED: Edison DD Mute Ball
I may be the exception but I removed my mute ball from my B19. I feel it is more of an obstruction to the sound waves. The horn already is small enough. Of course I've kept the mechanism intact and the ball stored in a glad bag in the case. The next caretaker can do what they want with it.
When I do serious listening I have my A250. This phonograph never had a muting system.
George Vollema as stated would be a good contact for getting the parts.

Hoping someone will come along with a definitive yes or no about whether the C-150 ball and assembly will work. If so, I've dug it out and you can have it if you want it -- cheap! I may not be able to send it until after Christmas, though. PM me if you want it.
