I am lucky I got up the videos I did manage to put up on You Tube of the True Tone Diaphragm. But the past couple days everything I have sent get a "Failed " message. Yet it says nothing about why. When I try to resend them it will say "a copy is already on you tube" but it never shows up in either the video or Video Manger pages.. They just don't show up at all.
On thing I can think of is I had the caches removed from my computer last week and after that is when they started not loading. But again they are showing up as having been received by you tube.
Anyone had a problem like this that might have some idea what to do? I sent them a "Help" notice but I doubt I will hear anything personally.
thanks
Larry

Okay, it sounds like you are attempting to upload from your web browser, which is fine, that is the way a lot of people do it. The only thing I can suggest is [before going to the YouTube website] to be sure that you have removed all the cookies from your browser and then empty the browser caches again for good measure.larryh wrote:On thing I can think of is I had the caches removed from my computer last week and after that is when they started not loading. You may also want to try using a different browser. I used to have problems uploading from IE. When I switched to Firefox everything worked fine.

Sorry, I have no experience with the Mac OS or iMovie. There are online Apple users forums and I expect that iMovie would fall into a sub-category that is discussed by a whole lot of people. Your best bet is checking there.larryh wrote:I am using the Apple I Movie which has a link to You Tube that opens when wish to send one to them..

If it isn't wind up technology, who cares...?

It is wind up technology alright - some people get pretty wound up when their computers don't work.Curt A wrote:If it isn't wind up technology, who cares...?![]()

I did check with apple. They told me the way I was loading the videos was incorrect but I pointed out I had only loaded 762 of them that way and they always worked. They showed me how to upload by dragging the videos into the you tube sight then uploading them.. its not as easy and can take way longer but I have at least gotten several new videos up the past two days. I need to check with them when I have time and see if I can understand the way they say is the correct one to get the clips loaded to You Tube directly as before. I wish it were as easy as cranking the phonograph though..

The one constant in computing is change, whether you want change or not. Something in your situation changed. When the cached files were cleared, perhaps some setting was accidentally changed as well. Did you clear the files, or did you have someone else do it for you? Also, the internet companies like YouTube, Amazon and eBay are constantly changing and upgrading their websites in very subtle ways, which in turn often "breaks" third party software. I constantly have to revise how I do things related to online computing.larryh wrote:I did check with apple.
