Does anyone have any information regarding personalized Lambert cylinders?
Looking for cylinders and/or any ephemera related to any special cylinders produced by Lambert.
Thanks.

Interesting, unfortunately I never heard of them, unless you would include the language cylinders.

Re: Special Lambert Recordings
Allen Koenigsberg has details of a 1904 cylinder which Lambert made for Leonide Keating, "The Chicago Hercules". This is a self-help recording, and is marked as "Keating record No.1", but I have never heard of No.2 so I guess this is it. I am not aware of any personal cylinders made by Lambert in the UK either. Hope this helps

Re: Special Lambert Recordings
Thank you Keith. Some additional information. I recently heard a recording made by the Lambert Company for a special gathering of Lambert employees on Christmas Eve 1904. In that regard I am seeking any information or references of other such cylinders as well as any data or references of the or about Lambert at that particular time (12/24/1904).RefSeries wrote:Allan Kongsberg has details of a 1904 cylinder which Lambert made for Leonide Keating, "The Chicago Hercules". Re: Special Lambert Recordings
The Christmas 1904 recording was made in London for the UK part of the company. I am not aware of a Chicago equivalent. I believe the London cylinder was a freebie given away at the annual Christmas 'do'. A nice souvenir!
