Victor Leaflet Back Cover

Post by gramophone78 »

This is the back cover of a newly found Victor (Philadelphia, PA) "Special Record List" leaflet circa 1904. Unless I'm wrong...the machine looks like a fancy case D. Odd that there is no horn decal shown in this image.

Wayne,

I believe it's an MS.
Here is a pic of a D, from the back of a 1903? machine catalog, also without decal.
Very interesting.

Bob, nice pic. The crank shown (rounded) in your image may be a bit later than '03. In my image the brake is at the rear and with a flat crank. Both images state "new tapering arm".
Interesting how both images show no horn decal.

The cover of this "special record list" was put out for one artist only. Here is the cover.
