That really is a great price for that machine! It's the 800 series of the Columbia Viva-Tonal's, so it is Columbia's response to the Victor Credenza. Seems to be without the decorations on the front, so probably the model 800.

Lovely machine. If I were closer, I'd have already traded something for it!

Even though telling the condition of something via lousy pics on craigslist requires a kind of augury, I'm thinking the finish looks dry and sun-bleached but easily restorable with some TLC and probably Howard's. If this one was as near me as the 701 currently on the Rhode Island craigslist (discussed in a recent thread), it would be in my apartment by now. And I would be on the heating pad for the next week and a half, but it would be worth it. I'd really like an 800-series Columbia even though it would definitely mean that Carlos, my much-loved Credenza, would have to move out. The price is right, even if it comes with a few random fixable problems -- the seller doesn't say much about it. I hope someone gets it who'll love it.

Sigh, no room, or I would be there in a flash.
