I call 'em undertakers. While I see the necessity of vending parts for those who need to replace lost or broken parts, deliberately stripping viable machines is.......well, it's Goddam criminal.

It's called Free Enterprise!

The goal of which is to constantly drive up the price
of machines.

The only way to fight it is to buy them all up and
save them.

Follow the Money. It's just greed pure and simple.

After all, for those who don't care in the slightest
about preserving working machines, parting them out
and selling the bits IS one way to make money.

It also produces artificially manufactured scarcity because every time it's done,
it decreases the amount of good machines available.

So, it earns a greedy heartless person some serious
cash and it also inflates the prices of machines.

Think about it. Aren't scarcity and high prices
exactly what the sellers of this stuff crave?

Add to that the fact that a good share of the buyers
will pay anything and there you have the complete
scenario. Follow the Money.
