Hello, what model are you repairing ? I have never seen any puritan model that used gold fittings I own 4 of the 5 upright models that I've seen that were offered. And i don't think that they ever offered a console. All of mine have nickel plating.

Re: WANTED: Puritan Motor Board (oak), Motor, Tone Arm
my Baroque is in mahogany and my confusion came from the fact that my machine came with a Victor fat tone arm and no. 2 reproducer(nickel), a Brunswick motor /motor board/and crank, and no grill. I have found the correct tone arm/reproducer and motor. I'm going to make the motor board but still looking for the speed control and brake. mine was also missing the grill, Grandpas Treasures (search the web) made me a new grill but he didn't have a pattern for the frame for the grill so i'm still looking for a frame or detailed Photos and measurements. The tonearm you need i believe is an Otto Hieneman no name behind the mica. the motor "Motor of Quality" also a Hieneman.
Good luck on Your Restoration, Ken

Puritan models known to me:
Priscilla (straight sides, seen in a Craig's list ad)
Mayflower (straight sides, oak one sold on eBay in 2014)
Baroque (4 bombé sides, early style with claw feet pictured in this thread:)

Plymouth (name-dropped and possibly pictured in this thread:)

Standish

Atlantic

Do you have any models not on this list? I'd be interested to know.

NOTE: this thread also shows a list member's Puritan tonearms.

For contrast, a nickel-plated Heineman tone arm and reproducer:

Re: WANTED: Puritan Motor Board (oak), Motor, Tone Arm
Hello,
I'm the guy who owns the Atlantic. My Puitan is also missing the tonearm but I'm still trying to figure out which tonearm I need. Ive heard multiple times that Heineman tonearms will work but I haven't found any that look like the ones In the picture that were posted in the thread about my Atlantic. Currently I'm using another Off-brand tonearm and reproducer that I adapted to fit my Puritan until I find one that is proper. However, If you find out any information on these Puritan tonearms please let me know as I still have much to learn.
