Leo Reisman "Puttin on the Ritz"
I would love to see a cylinder of Leo Reisman "Puttin on the Ritz" for the Edison Amberola machine. I was thinking about having this one cut and produced through Vulcan but the pricing would be the issue.

If you get some more buyers, and I would be one, to go in with you, it might not be too bad.
Let me know.

That would be a good idea, but would probably require about 10 orders at $ 80.00 each to make it happen, because of the cost of mould, title end and box and additional copies. I would not mind coordinating this project, but it would require enough orders and people to follow through. It's a big expense for one person. We should all thank Norman for his efforts in doing a lot of the Edison's.billybob62 wrote:If you get some more buyers, and I would be one, to go in with you, it might not be too bad.

I was about to chime in for two... but then I noticed the ZERO after the 8!

If you plan on doing this you would want to have a very good original to make this.
Norman Bruderhofer (WDC on this board)might be helpful or, go to his website at:

He is a great guy.

At present I do not have a copy of this, I know that Norman is busy with the couple of releases..."Honey" and eventually as he has told us "Some of these Day's"...It would be nice to see him put this out "Puttin on the Ritz", it is not important to me if I do it or if someone else does, I would just like a copy for the Amberola. Norman does a great job and I think he would be better in the audio department on this.billybob62 wrote:If you plan on doing this you would want to have a very good original to make this.
