Re: Crystola
I saw that yesterday . . . I don't think it has ever occurred to the seller to remove the grill. I have a mahogany Crystola. If I wasn't on the road, I'd grab that oak one in a hot minute (if the mirrors are intact, that is!)

Re: Crystola
You should go for it. A machine like that would be worth around $100 with a regular horn, and that glass horn is NOT a common thing.

Doesn't look oak to me and the tonearm is broken, or is it? Damned CL pictures! Still a unique one to be sure...

Re: Crystola
hm, if he lives 10 minutes away and wants just $125, I'd be there tonight if I could and grab it. You can't go wrong at that price regardless!

Re: Crystola
Looks like mahogany to me (typical) and maybe a broken tone arm. Still, lots of these machines use stock tone arms and it probably wouldn't be too hard to find something that would fit. At $125 I'd give it some serious thought.

Re: Crystola
Sorry about saying it is oak . . . I probably looked at it at without my glasses at 2am after working a 16-hour day. Sorry for any confusion!
