The ad only mentions Brunswick. The phonograph in the lower cut is a Sonora. How did this happen?

Phototone is right, that definitely looks like a Sonora at the bottom.

Now, is that a Brunora, or a Sonswick?

Congratulations! All who have responded get one free WI beer --- payable on demand at the 2016 Union, IL show!
Yes, that is a Sonora Invincible (one step down from the top of the line Sonora Supreme) depicted in this Brunswick advertisement. I am aware of Brunswick putting their mechanisms in some leftover, Brunswick-manufactured, Edison B-250 cabinets (ref. Fabrizio and Paul's Discovering Antique Phonographs 1877-1929, pg.187), but I have never heard of any connection between Brunswick and Sonora. I don't know that Brunswick ever put their mechanisms in unused, old stock Sonora cabinets.
Does anyone know of a relationship between the two companies which could perhaps explain a Sonora machine being featured in a Brunswick advertisement? Perhaps this is all just a mistake in the design and layout of this particular advertisement... but by who???
Thanks for any input,
Bob

The only company I know of that Brunswick did have a relationship with is Pathé.

Pages 127-129 of RJ Wakeman's Brunswick book describes a 1927 raid of top executives from Brunswick's phonograph division by Sonora, but that is after the time of this advertisement.
In this advertisement, I think the paste-up artist substituted the wrong electrotype.

Could it be just a really bad printing error? That they used the wrong printing plate? But then again, Brunswick probably used their own printing. So their own employee using the wrong plate does sound sad.
