New Arrival: Coin-op 10-50

Post by gemering »

This morning, I met Chuck Azzalina (ChuckA on the forum) and his son, Ryan at their Bucks County, PA home to help load my new 10-50 into their pick up for the 90 minute drive to Sussex County, NJ.
We traversed back roads all the way, passing farms and picture perfect rural scenery on what was a beautiful spring Saturday.
After some minor mechanical adjustments from the trip the machine is now in a place of honor in my living room.
I am very grateful to now own it.

Very nice, Gene. It must be fascinating watching it operate.

Hey Gene, it sure is a beauty. Looks like a heavy machine, how's your back?

After moving the last 10-50 I owned, I actually worked out for a month before moving this one.
Not wanting to embarrass myself again, I was a regular at the high school weight room.
Chuck is a master at manipulating a hand truck and has lot's of experience moving these larger machines.
When we got to Newton, I rounded up several neighbors (most of whom are much younger and stronger) to help get her in the house.
I guess I'll be returning quite a few favors this spring.

Thanks for the nice comments.

That is really a nice looking machine. The way they put the glass in the door is very clever. I wonder if that 10-70 I have is a Badger conversion. It would make sense, since it came from Minneapolis. It's a wonder that the wallbox stayed with it. Is there much to the inside of the wallbox?
