HI,
I have a Women's Home Companion Magazine from January 1907, that on the back cover has a full color AD featuring the
Victor VI Phonograph. I understand this AD is rare. I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate value?
Thanks,
Vince

It's a nice ad with the top of the line Victor VI and the infrequently seen 24B all brass horn but I don't think magazine ads featuring talking machines have a great deal of value. I'd estimate a value at not greater than $5 out of a frame. Jerry Blais

I agree with Jerry. Ultimately it's just a magazine ad, not a dealer poster or some other very unusual advertising item.

Very nice Ad. Shows a female DJ and the little accessory needle box with a beautiful machine.
I would like to find a nice ad like that to frame. Was the magazine it's from in a large format?

This ad was reproduced in color both on the cover and internally in the book, "The Talking Machine, the Advertising History of the Berliner Gramophone and Victor Talking Machine", by James N. Weber, published 1997 by ADIO, Inc., in Midland, Ontario, Canada.
I have copies of this book available for sale. PM me if interested. I will create a Yankee Trader ad for it sometime soon. You could of course frame the color copy found in the book or take that to your local copy shop for enlargement (because it is public domain.)
