For Sale: Parting Out A Victor VV-XIV

Post by Junkyard4 »

I'm parting out this Victor VV-XIV cabinet phonograph. The cabinet is in very poor condition, veneer is delaminating. All the mechanicals are there along with all the hardware. I was working a few days ago until the spring broke. Let me know what you need and I'll shoot back a price. If you send me your zip code I can also let you know the shipping costs also.

Does the tonearm have the piece for triggering the auto brake or is it smooth?

Yes it has the piece for triggering the auto brake.
Not oak, mahogany I think.

Judging from the fourth photo, I'd say oak...
