Re: WANTED: HARDY TIN FOIL REPRODUCTION
Try contacting Jalal Aro in Paris: [email protected]. He had a few left when I was there last fall.
I know of 3 production runs of Hardy replicas. One was in the 1990s, by Guido Severijns in Holland. Ray Phillips made some about 12 years ago in southern CA. A series was started in France in 1977 for the centennial of the phonograph but they were not completed and put on the market until 2010, mostly sold by Jalal.
All 3 are excellent but the French replicas are by far the most accurate. None are cheap but then again top quality tinfoil replicas take a lot of skilled work to make so the costs are justified.
