Re: SF Craigslist - Columbia Phonograph - $25
This is an early "Favorite", more likely 1912-13.
It has the early style internal horn tone-arm, identical to the one on my "double-door" Favorite (c.1912).
This is an early example of the Favorite after they dropped the Victrola style horn-doors and went to the characteristic "Tone Leaves".
Someone please grab it !

I had already made arrangements to buy it today. It's in my town....and is a local pick-up.

I am curious about how someone went about fitting a Victor #2 reproducer to the Columbia arm; should have a #5, or a Concert Grand.
Correction to the above: a sharp-eyed forum member, 52089, pm'd me, suggesting I take a closer look at the listings and the pictures... the machine does indeed have its correct Columbia #5 reproducer. The Victor #2 is an extra goodie-bit. My mistake.
Would still like to see pics !
Pictures, please when you get it home !

Yes I did...thanks for asking.
Been too busy this week to post pictures, but it has been nicely refinished and has all of the correct parts including the reproducer.
The Victor No. 2 reproducer (that was loose) was also in nice condition. The was an early Gennett record, two Diva records, and one Black & White record in the lot as well.
