Big Phonograph/Record Show August 13-14

Post by phonogfp »

If you can possibly be in the Los Angeles area around the second weekend in August (13-14), don't miss the annual Antique Phonograph/Record Show & Sale put on by the Antique Phonograph Society. There's a banquet on Saturday night, and everyone is welcome to both days of activities.

For more information, see the APS website here:

Best to all,

George P.

The APS show is a really fun event. In addition to being a great phono sale, it's in the midst of great vacation destinations like Disney Land, Knox Berry Farm, Universal Studios, and others. I will be driving a large pickup with 16' covered cargo trailer and would like to offer free hauling back to the Pacific Northwest for collectors that have never been to the sale. So fly to the sale, have a terrific time, and pick up your treasures in Albany, Oregon when you return. If you have any questions, please send a PM or call 541-990-0781.

Happy collecting, Jerry Blais

The show is a great one to attend. Earlier this month, we went to the Union Show, bought a Victrola and some records, and enjoyed the experience. Our budget will not allow us to go to California, but any forum members or collectors that want a wonderful experience need to plan on attending. We have been to the show twice and it was well worth the effort.
