It is the same cabinet... can't imagine why it is still available.

I'd be all over it if it were near here.

I was going to go out and look at it but guess I got a bit spooked by someone mentioning it had veneer issues that I didn't originally notice. That coupled with having to make all the dividers is making me hesitant...Curt A wrote:It is the same cabinet... can't imagine why it is still available.

I think I may see what the person who commented thought were veneer issue on the upper right front door, so it might be worth calling first to see if that is the case. It is hard for me to tell for certain amidst all that swirling oak pattern.TonyJ wrote:I was going to go out and look at it but guess I got a bit spooked by someone mentioning it had veneer issues that I didn't originally notice. Not sure what the market would be, but these are not cheap. A nice oak bow front Hertzog cylinder cabinet recently brought $1,500 on eBay. This one is not in that league, but most certainly worth more than $100.

If it was near me,I wouldn't have to think twice about buying it. You just don't find them like that in my area.FloridaClay wrote:I'd be all over it if it were near here.

Why would veneer "issues" concern you...? Whatever they are they look to be easily fixed....
These cabinets are rare in that condition and are worth more than most upright phonographs and much harder to find... it's a no brainer....
