Here is the Victor Electrola VE 12-25 X, one of only about 2200 produced, in 1927 only.
This is a pretty rare one, often found with key elements like speakers or amplifiers missing or altered. It was produced in rather small quantities and not many were sold, due to the fact it cost $625, which was a whole lot of money in those days.
This example is complete and untouched, found in the wild. It's complete except for the horseshoe magnet pickup, and even has all tubes installed, but I have not tried to test any of the electronics at all. The only deficiencies are that the tone arm back bracket has deteriorated, and the exterior of the cabinet has some scratches and marks as shown in the photos.
My theory of how it survived intact is that the back bracket failed early on, so it got pushed aside and/or just used as furniture. The lady I got it from told me that the pickup had been misplaced years ago, but they are pretty easy to find.
This can be delivered to the CAPS show in LA in August and/or handed off to one of our roving phono colleagues for transportation to Union, etc. It is currently located here with me in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The sideways pix will right themselves when you click them.
Thanks for looking.

More photos. I do have the full original back, removed for photography. The paper tag shown below is on it.
