Two great sounding portables. Free delivery to Wayne, NJ Fall Phonograph show. I will not ship these. Both play impressively.
#1. Brunswick Panatrope. Monstrous...MONSTROUS sound from this metal horned beast. I oiled and greased gears, and re-set the bearings in the reproducer (common problem....the bearing races become loose). Original leather handle gone....disintegrated. $175
#2. NO LONGER AVAILABLE Leather covered Sonora portable. Double spring motor has two freshly greased springs, all bearings oiled. Reproducer has been rebuilt to my standards with new gaskets, needle bar rubber dampers, mounting flange rubber rings, and adjusted for correct tension. Plays beautifully, AND you can close the lid while playing for the Victrola-effect. Has original handle. $100
