question about Columbia Q spring
I have a Columbia Q that will play a cylinder only about ⅞ of the way through and then needs rewinding. Is this normal or do I have a spring problem possibly? It has been lubricated but maybe I am overlooking something. Thank you!

Re: question about Columbia Q spring
It could have hardened grease in the spring barrel.

What he said. If that doesn't fix it, it could be a weak spring.Phonoboy wrote:It could have hardened grease in the spring barrel.

Thank you for that information. Obviously there is a problem with the spring so I need to look into that. I have always been able to count on you all for some good information and direction. Thank you to all!
