SOLD: EDISONIA rare coin-operated tokens - $20.00 Each

Post by Shawn »

For sale is an pretty rare version of an Edisonia Token. Token's such as this were used in Coin-operated phonographs. Edisonia was a collaboration between Thomas Edison and Herbert Stephen Mills of the Mill's Novelty company. They operated coin-operated arcades at the world's fair in 1900 and 1904, as well as in various cities.

The Edisonia tokens available today would have been used in an Edisonia Arcade Parlor. On the back side is Good for One Tune.

I only have two of these available. They are approximately the size of a nickel.

The price is $20.00 each plus shipping to you. No PayPal on this, but checks are fine.

Please contact me with interest at [email protected]

Thank you

Shawn
