FOR SALE: Various machines - various

Post by 52089 »

I'm offering a few things from my collection, more in an effort to clean house than anything else. I have not taken pictures of these yet, but will be glad to do so if someone has an interest. Some can be seen in my post at the top of the last page of this thread:

1) Brunswick Ultona mahogany table top model 105. The 105 was made with a single-head Ultona reproducer, but a previous owner changed it out to the two-head version. The Edison head includes a good stylus and new gaskets. Runs well. Also includes a box of various Ultona parts. $250

2) Pathé oak table top model III. Runs well and plays vertical Pathé discs well. Tonearm is detached from base but still swivels well. Usual seam split on lid veneer. Concert reproducer turns freely to both vertical and lateral positions; reproducer collar and thumbscrew are both present. Does not include Pathé stylus. $125

3) Edison mahogany Amberola 75. Early production run (third month), serial number 24xx, has nickeled reproducer and exposed speed control. All 4 light-colored drawers are present. Runs well. Cabinet needs work. $425

4) Victor oak portable VV-50. Second major style with recessed horn, front crank escutcheon, and no needle holders. Runs well. Can be seen in this video (machine on the left). $225

5) Vintage mahogany cylinder cabinet, holds 140 cylinders in later style (like Blue Amberol) boxes. $400. Can be seen in this thread:

I also have misc. Edison cylinder players, a VV-VI, a Columbia desktop, a few large horns, etc. Details on any of these on request.

Strongly prefer in person pickup on these; I am near Framingham, MA 01701. Delivery to Wayne, or anywhere that reasonably close to the driving route between Boston and Wayne, is also possible. Shipping is possible, but definitely not preferred.

Prices are generally negotiable, particularly if you're interested in more than one item. Please PM to reserve, make offers, or ask questions.

Thanks!

Kevin
