It's a beautiful case and if you have another machine to rob the parts from, it would be a great upgrade...

The only problem I can see in replacing the original parts would be finding a proper motorboard. How common are Walnut motor boards?

Not common, but one could be made easily...Phonoboy wrote:The only problem I can see in replacing the original parts would be finding a proper motorboard. How common are Walnut motor boards?

If anyone buys this, I have a Walnut 130 that I will gladly take measurements/pics of to help in restoration. The Walnut veneer is readily available if you were to veneer another motor board and install. I had to replace the veneer on the top of the lid for mine as the veneer was completely gone.

I think someone "improved" that Victrola back in the '40's.Back then they weren't worth anything.Thankfully,it CAN be restored to the way it was originally.

Gene, have you contacted the seller just to confirm they don't have the original parts? Just curious...

Fran,
I have not contacted the seller.
Sure would be nice to see this 130 back to original.

Thank you, Gene. It was worth a shot. What a shame.
