Cheney console on eBay.

Post by Benjamin_L »

Now this is a really neat Cheney machine with two horns where the record storage would go on a usual console.

It just really stuck out for me and is worth sharing.

I have one of their consoles with the two horns paired in the center. I think they did the multiple horn thing because the design didn't allow for easily making it larger or longer.

I am not much for consoles, but this is drop dead gorgeous. The condition is immaculate and perfect. In the picture, it really makes a statement for a grand entryway. I hope someone gets this machine.

I love it. Look at the gleaming gold plated brass fittings. Dual, speakers! And the gutta percha diaphragms sound great. I have a smaller Cheney. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. But getting it to Long Island reasonably......

It's a style 112 by Mr. Wakeman's article on Cheney.
