I just came across the International Cyclopedia of Music and Musicians and there are 2 notes to Marion Talley, one signed by Giorgio Polacco and the other by JSK(JLK? JFK?). Anybody know who that could have been?
Thanks! Cliff

I'm not convinced that's an "S". Is there anyone described in the book with the initials "J K"? Or perhaps those are the author's initials?

And what's on p. 1856? That might provide some helpful hint...

Page 1856 has a short bio of Marion Talley. Guess somebody wanted her to see the impact she made on the world of music. Must have been somebody close to her...Lucius1958 wrote:And what's on p. 1856? That might provide some helpful hint...

Re: Anybody Know Who JSK Was?
I looked through the K section of the book and there were none that seemed to fit the bill. All the J.K.'s were either dead in 1939, or had not spent much time in the USA.52089 wrote:I'm not convinced that's an "S". Is there anyone described in the book with the initials "J K"? I've searched the internet for intimate details of Marion Talley's life trying to figure out which of her friends or colleagues might be J.K., but there doesn't seem to be any in depth biographies for her.
Still looking...
