SOLD! : Nicest Table Victrola XI - $500

I am selling a very very nice mahogany table model Victrola XI. In forty plus years of collecting I have not seen a nicer one. The mahogany is so dramatic I thought it had been refinished but it's all original and is correct down to the gold key. The table model XI was offered in the infancy of Victrola production and sold in small numbers. If you look carefully, many of the parts were common to horn machines such as the tone arm and brake. Many early Victrolas were sacrificed for those parts. The price is $500 for this piece of history. I'm happy to deliver to Union or APS at no additional cost. It is roughly 18"Wx22"Dx16'H and quite heavy so shipping would be very expensive. Please PM with any interest or questions. It goes to the first person to say "SOLD!".

That is a very nice tabletop XI, that is the best condition one that I have ever seen. As you mentioned many of these have been parted out to restore external horn models. The cabinet looks nice and all of the plating is phenomenal. I own one of these and the sound is great. These machine are on par with most floor model machines, they are substantial, with a powerful motor . They are solid and heavy.

I like the dealer tag inside the lid. If I didn't already own one and had extra cash I would jump on this one.

Good luck with the sale, it should sell fast in its condition and $500 is a bargain price.
