I'm working on a triumph model B with a 2-4 minute selector that is stuck in 2 minute mode. I don't want to force it, or hit it with a hammer (plan b).
Any tricks short of taking it apart?
If I have to take it apart, any tips on how to do that?
Forever grateful.
Triumph model B help.

Re: Triumph model B help.
Use a propane torch, on very low flame. What you want to do is gently heat the area for about 40 seconds, just enough heat to melt the oil varnish that is gluing it all together

Re: Triumph model B help.
Genius. I used a small torch that uses a standard disposable lighter as a fuel source. Much smaller and easy to direct flame. I often use it to free up frozen pad locks in the winter.
Thanks Wyatt, you saved another one(especially if I resorted to plan B).
