Need some information about this Columbia player..
I was wondering if anyone could give me any information about this Columbia player in this table top model. The player slides out of the front and it seems that the sound comes out of the back. Any information will be appreciated...

It looks like an early Columbia "Baby Regent," which according to "The Columbia Phonograph Companion, Vol II," was introduced in 1911 and sold for $100.00. (There's one with a better preserved or restored finish on this page -- http://www.clarphon.com/Grafonolas.htm )
Later versions were fitted with a bottom shelf -- http://www.solvangantiques.com/products ... by-regent/

You're right. I just blew up the photo for a closer look:
So this would be a later production model--1913 or later.

These are really neat, novel machines. I had this model and the Empire model (Round table with heavy legs). They are nice additions to your collection, plus it gives you a horizontal surface to set a phonograph or two.
