here are some better pictures of this reproducer. It has the name "Alethophonic" on the back. it has an aluminum diaphragm. Unfortunately, I dont have a mounting gasket for it to be able to try it out. Anyone know anything about it?

It looks like something off of a portable.

There's a little bit about the Alethophonic on this page -- http://www.capsnews.org/apn2015-3.htm

Hmm. I think you guys are right. Kinda makes sense since it came with my Canadian distributed VV-IV (although poorly attached with rubber hose). Thanks for the info! Im going to put a No.2 gasket in it and see what it sounds like. When I rub it, it seems very loud and responsive.

I like its name.
Aletho means: true; nothing concealed; real.

I told Althea I was feeling lost
Lacking in some direction
Althea told me upon scrutiny
My back might need protection

I told Althea that treachery
Was tearing me limb from limb
Althea told me, "Now cool down, boy.
Settle back. Easy, Jim."
