I don't think the poll system works properly, so I'll answer you directly.
I usually use a commercial degreaser that's orange oil based. I think it's "Zep" brand and is available in the US at Home Depot/Lowe's equivalents. Spray on, wipe off. Repeat as needed.

My choice is Lacquer Thinner. Amazingly it is still available in California (unlike Mineral Spirits).

You'll have to talk to the highly elusive "owner" of the website about that. I've been trying to contact him for about 6 or 7 years now....Henry wrote:Poll not working!
Oh, and I use Mineral Spirits (White Spirit).

Does this mean that this can all disappear overnight if the Owner decides to quit paying some fee?

I will start a separate thread on this in the next couple of days so as not to hijack this one.PeterF wrote:Does this mean that this can all disappear overnight if the Owner decides to quit paying some fee?

I use carburetor cleaner. It leaves no residue and cuts the grease very well.

I use mineral spirits in s bucket and a water based cleaner in my ultrasonic cleaner. I like Greased Lightning from Lowes.
