Mastering the Viva Tonal with silicone and bakers gloves

Post by MicaMonster »

I used silicone putty to create an insulating flange for the reproducer, cured it in an oven, punched holes in it and put it to use. Enjoy the video. If you want yours to sound as good as this one drop me a line.

Having owned a few viva tonal machines, that sound is impressive. Very nice results! The video shows surprising tracking error for such a late model player so the compliance you restored to the reproducer is of great benefit.
