Good deal?

Post by hearsedriver »

Seems like a good deal on an honest machine. What say you?

Looks like a fine deal, but keep in mind that it has a larger spindle and will only play Standard discs and others with that large size hole.

Also, don't be surprised when the seller asks for more money for shipping. $50 to ship that would be a bargain since you'll need at least 2 large boxes to do ship it properly.

All is not lost.

Contact Justin at JAS Antiques [email protected] ... he was selling repro small spindle turntables for these- Easy swap as the spindle on these is actually cast right onto the turntable which sits on a flat cone.

This is a good deal. Standard records are very common. They are easily found at reasonable prices.

That's a very reasonable price. I agree that you should be cautious about the shipping. I don't think quality packing with the horn in one carton and the balance in a second carton can be done for $50. I'd suggest giving specific instructions for packing and expect to pay the difference. Jerry Blais

The $76.77 price plus $100 shipping, instead of $50 would be reasonable... BUT, who knows what the actual price will be? The question is... with 5 days left, do you actually think it well sell for that price? If it was a Buy It Now, it would be a no-brainer...

Actually, this was a buy it now for $350.00. I'm surprised this didn't get snagged. Maybe it will go cheap, or high. One thing I learned was when you see a buy it now, and a good price, jump on it. Don't put a bid thinking you might get it cheap.

The listing originally had a BIN price of $250. Now that a bid has been placed, the BIN goes away.
