The Wayne Phonograph Show is rapidly approaching and I want to offer this fine example of a "MEGA" fiber horn with floral decoration. It measures 30 ½ in length & the bell measures 23 inches wide. E. A. and A. G. Schoettel of Maspeth, New York, manufactured these lightweight fiber horns. Fiber horns were advertised in the Talking Machine World from January, 1905. Decorated “flower” horns were available by July, 1906. (Source: Antique Phonograph Accessories & Contraptions by Fabrizio and Paul.)
The horn has an excellent “Mega” decal and is original. The horn is in very good condition. See photos for overall condition. NO SHIPPING. Delivery only to the Wayne, NJ Phonograph Show in April or Union, IL Phonograph Show in June.
PM or e-mail. Thank you,
Rob
