FOR SALE: Reconditioned Amerique 1911 Reproducer - $59

Post by CDBPDX »

I am offering for sale an interesting designed AMERIQUE reproducer c.1911 or so. It was one of a series of this general design made in Germany. There was apparently a decorative piece attached to the face that covered the needle bar, that is not present. I replaced the original gaskets and cleaned and tuned everything for optimal sound reproduction and it is awesome!

You can see and hear it play on YouTube here:

The tinny sound pickup from my camera is not up to presenting the full impact of the sound from the reproducer, but you can still hear a crisp, clear reproduction.

Thought I'd post to the Forum before offering it on Ebay, any takers?

Asking $69.00 with free shipping to USA address via Priority Mail. Cost for shipping outside the USA is dependent on location.

Thanks! Cliff

Is the reproducer made of pot metal? The reason I ask is I see little cracks around the face of the reproducer. Also, on the left mounting hole, it looks like a little chunk of metal is missing.
