Playing A Record or Two on Every Old Phonograph You Own
I have a small collection of eight old phonographs plus a more modern three speed record player. Today I decided to play a record or two all of the phonographs in my collection. It was enjoyable and brought back memories of when I acquired them. For those collectors with many machines, this is not a practical idea, but for those collectors with just one, two, or several phonographs, it is an idea for a nice "mini-concert" that takes less than an hour.

Re: Playing A Record or Two on Every Old Phonograph You Own
I came close to that today, my first major phonograph day since my trip to Wayne. While there, I bought a small group of 78s (both electric and acoustic), Diamond Discs, 2M cylinders, and 4M cylinders, and also a new portable. That meant that I used my VV-XI, VV 1-90, Amberola 1A, C-150 Diamond Disc, and the new (to me) Decca Salon 130 (UK) portable.
I also picked up a couple of needle cut Edison discs (my first) and tomorrow I plan to play at least one on my Edison P-1 portable.
While I have other machines, these are my regular "go to" machines for every day play.
