FOR SALE: VICTOR RECORD STORAGE ALBUMS - VARIOUS

Post by PHONOMIKE »

Spring cleaning and continuing my liquidating of inventory. Here are some Victor albums I am looking to sell.

1) Original complete set of Victor record boxes for a Victor L-door XVI. Only the “A” box doesn’t have dividers and has a bit of tape on the side but it isn’t seen from the front. Look very nice in a machine. - $325 SOLD

2) 2 – 12” with “M” on spine - $20 for the pair
3) 7 – 10” letters “A,B,C,E,G,H,I”silver letter on spine and dog on front, all with pulls - $70 - SOLD
4) 2 – 10” with “F” on spine. 1 is in rough condition - $15
5) 10 – 12” letters K-T. Nice condition. Believe these are for a XIV or XVI - $120 - SOLD

I can bring any of these to Union next month free of charge.

Message me if you are interested in any of these items or want more info on any of them.

Thanks.

Mike

Doubtless this will strike some as sacrilege, but I have pressed a set of just the 10" L-door albums into service to store diamond discs on the shelf of my A-150. Being a box-and-divider design, they actually work pretty well. With the original Edison albums being mostly made of unobtanium, invariably in awful shape when they do turn up, and then usually selling for more than the machine itself is worth, the sturdy Victor boxes make a nice, and nice-looking, substitute. Just a thought for those needing a storage solution who might otherwise pass these by as not original Edison equipment. (And they are in considerably nicer shape than mine!)

Anyone interested in #2 and #4 combined?

2 - 12" books marks "M" on spine and 2 - 10" books marked "F" on spine. Varying condition of fair to rough. All have the Victor logo on the front.

All 4 books for $25 and I will bring them to Union no charge.

PM me if you are interested. Thanks.
