I'm enclosing pictures of this Herzog phonograph cabinet. Any idea of rarity or value? It's in mahogany, 54" tall, original condition.

Yes, Very nice indeed. This is one for a disk machine and is missing the paper mache' horn. I also think there may have been a shelf added. I would reach out to StL Bill on the forum as he made the horn for his. Did you buy it?

Ken; Thanks for telling Cheryla about my horns for the Disc version of the Herzog cabinet. I do indeed make the horns having used an original horn for my pattern and mold. They are made to fit your cabinet exactly when I am given the dimensions of the back mount from the machine that you intend to install in your cabinet. I would assume that in this case it would be either a Victor or Zonophone mahogony machine. Good luck with your cabinet, it is indeed a great piece.

Ken, unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, I do not see any extra shelf. The shelf where the record albums are stacked is the shelf that the phonograph sits on.
