I remember when this machine and up for auction the last time. It is unquestionably old, Andis very well built. It exhibits the construction techniques used for (expensive) bronze bank or office furnishings in the 1920's. This machine appears to have once been patinated with a "Statuary Bronze" finish.

This is a unique machine, one which will not soon again come up for sale.

Victrola Girl says she would like to play records along side this brass beauty. (Metal Phonographs attract one another)

I wish it was based on the VV-330 or VV-230 instead of the lessor model. Still pretty sweet.

I think that categorizing this special machine as a frankenphone does not do it justice. It is basically the same as other original one off custom cabinet creations...

Personally, I think it needs some Swarovski crystals imbedded to spiff it up and make it a little more flashy... ;) :lol:

I agree, it shouldn't be dismissed as something repugnant, but ought be recognized as a truly stunning and unique artifact.
