VV-VI in a conversion case

Post by estott »

I've seen quite a few oak drop in cases for table top Victors but this is the first mahogany console I've seen. When new it must have looked great.

When I was a kid my Mom bought a room divider/privacy screen that had the same green plastic material with the circles. I always wondered what happened to that room divider. Now I know!

We got rid of it when we moved in December 1970. So we can date this console to ~1971 :D
Why do we need signatures when we are on a first avatar basis?

That's actually kind of interesting. I've never seen a case quite that elaborate in which to plop your Victrola. Baumbach needs another chapter added to his Victor book.
