Lets See Your Homemade Horn Floor Stands

Post by hearsedriver »

Im trying to get some ideas on how to build a floor stand for the large Edison horns and would like to see pictures of ones that you guys have built. Ive got an antique floor lamp stand that Im thinking of making a stand out of. My thoughts are to insert a bent ⅜" brass rod into the lamp shaft, something like this.....

Make one like the Wizard of Menlo Park on YouTube... out of schedule 40 PVC...

What's wrong with finding an original?

Id love to find an original but they seem to sell for a lot of money.

They show up from time to time between $100 and $200. Regrettably, I sold mine for $150... now I could use it.

If you can locate a tripod type music stand, just remove the top part and replace it with a bent steel rod...
