Just out of curiosity, why is this record desirable? Is the QRS label rare or historically significant?

QRS is actually a piano roll company which were made for player pianos and included a lot of ragtime tunes! These records are pretty scarce! Nice one!
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

That explains it! I'd never heard of the label but I didn't think Frank Luther records were extraordinarily collectible. Of course I mostly only know him for his work putting out kids' 78s and albums for Decca...

Frank Luther was the main vocalist for a popular Victor dance band called "The High Hatters" and was a country artist in his own right.

I have a small collection of QRS later red label records of jazz/ dance format. They are quite tough to find.

I heard an LP of QRS recordings by Jelly Roll Morton. Apparently they issued acoustic recordings of piano roll performances! Thought it was weird but I guess they were covering the bases.
