Well, maybe! I suspect that a disproportionate number of record and machine collectors are not sports fans. Let me know how you make out, John.JohnM wrote:Ahhh . . . Super Bowl XLIII! What a perfect diversion to snipe stuff on eBay! Bwaaa-haa-ha!

You mean they still have a superbowl if the Patriots don't make it?

Actually, our friends that we are staying with in Ft. Lauderdale have invited us to a SB party at the Diplomat Hotel. I could care less about the game, but with the open bar and full buffet at the Diplomat, I think I'll just go and do my best Hunter S. Thompson imitation, the lovely Lauri on mine arm.
eBay be d****d!

Without having poll data on this, I would think that Rocky is right, but who knows...maybe today will be a good day for eBay sniping.EdisonSquirrel wrote:I suspect that a disproportionate number of record and machine collectors are not sports fans.

Not that there has been much worth sniping on ebay recently...MordEth wrote:Without having poll data on this, I would think that Rocky is right, but who knows...maybe today will be a good day for eBay sniping.EdisonSquirrel wrote:I suspect that a disproportionate number of record and machine collectors are not sports fans.

It’s not every week that you can bid on the Creature from the Black Lagoon phonographs...Zeppy wrote:Not that there has been much worth sniping on ebay recently...

Super bowl? What's that? Something for soup, maybe? Wait a minute, let me crank up the tele and see what all the fuss is about. (Glad I got the one with the four-spring motor!)

hello my friend ZEPPY---- We have to be kind once in a while and give the weaker links a chance! the Patriots along with the Red Sox tend to be a compassionate bunch. your friend michaelZeppy wrote:You mean they still have a superbowl if the Patriots don't make it?
