O/T I now have a Mac.

Post by Edisonfan »

I know this is off topic, but my parents, bought me a brand new I-Mac, as an early birthday present. After getting another virus on my PC. I unplugged it, and put it aside, to be recycled. My parents, bought me a new mac. I still have a lot to learn. I also need to reconfigure my ISP. Well, I just need to contact Verizon. To switch my plan from MSN, to Apple. I have E-mail, but it's only web based, since i need to figure out how to get my Mail, on mac. Anyway, I just wanted to share this with everyone.

As a long-time Mac user with a brand new iMac OS X 10.6.2 Snow Leopard, I think you're gonna love your Mac. By the way, Apple should be sending you an email with bar codes to take to your FedEx shipper; they will ship two items (e.g., your old computer and monitor) out for recycling at no charge to you. Pretty neat!

Now I know why I save all those original boxes that stuff came in! (Just think, if the previous owner of my XI had saved its shipping crate....my, my!)

P.S. You might want to remove the hard drive from your old computer to avoid any possible security/privacy issues later on.
