Post by Vinrage_mania »

I hate asking subjective questions ...but a collector of radios that i know has one (so do I) and really wants a radio I have 2 of he has offered me another radio (cathedral) and the 1-90 ...see picture below for it (value around 600) 1-90 machines show up so seldom hard to put a number on it the cathedarl is worth $250 or so ......is a 1-90 worth that?,,,or more?

If in good condition -- original clean finish/no severe veneer damage or scratches; undamaged original grille cloth; no pot metal cracking of tonearm support or sound box (reproducer); working motor -- I'd say $250.00 would be a bargain. The last decent one I came across in the Bay area, nearly 15 years ago, was priced about $500.
