I have a lady who I know that is selling a VV-405. It is in quite nice shape. The color on the outside is lighter, so I don't know if anything has been done to the finish. I'm not too familiar with this model, but it is one of the fancier consoles and is not too big of a console to where it takes up too much room.
PM for details, I believe she may take a bit less, but it's in my town and I can hold it for whoever would like to purchase it until arrangements can be made to get it.

$499. is a little high, even for something this beautiful. The 405 sold well and quite a few have survived, probably by being used to hold books and family photos.
Victor dealers did a good job of clearing out the showroom stock before offering the Orthophonic line.
