Sold: Columbia BY with rare matching Cabinet- $3900

The BY was Columbia's top line outside horn machine. This one is in excellent condition with the upgraded large Mahogany horn instead of the smaller tinny aluminum horn. I have compared the sound of both horns and I greatly prefer the warmer sound of the large wood horn. The machine also has the reproducer with the volume control. The ornate cabinet is in excellent condition as well. As you probably know, the cabinet is very, very hard to find. It was an upgrade that many couldn't afford at the time. The BY have a powerful 4 spring motor and this one plays great.

This is truly a centerpiece machine for many collections.

The machine resides in Houston, TX and is available for pickup. I will also be available if someone wants to have it shipped or picked up by a third party. Buyer is responsible for coordinating and paying for shipping.
