Who's the nut about needles?
Somewhere on a previous thread someone mention how much they love and collect varieties of needles. I'd like to communicate with that person. I have something for you!!! $$$ Thanks, Jerry Blais - 541-990-0781 (Pacific Time) or [email protected]

Contact Jim (Victor78). He's a great guy with an impressive collection of needles. He should be able to help you out.

Re: Who's the nut about needles?
Thanks to Jerry, I was able to obtain my greatest needle related item yet. It was a long wait, but I picked it up at the Union show this past weekend. I believe this to be a salesmen tri-fold sample display for Herold Needles. It opens up to show a sample of 4 needle packs, and 2 of the 3 panels of needles that were sewn on the display. A good portion of the needles are missing, but as time go's on, I'm gathering information and hope to match up numbers, pictures and tins to what would have been in the brochure. I also have a cardboard store display with some of the same types of needles, and some of those were missing as well. It will take time to complete the research, but I will defiantly have fun hunting it all down. Thanks again to Jerry. Enjoy...

Great item! I wished very much it would be complete, because since quite a while I am looking for a "Comtesse"-needle, designed for talking postcards. Too bad it is missing!!

Since we're in needle mode I'll post this ad from the Lenoirstreet archives. I didn't know Sonora made a tungstone rip off until I ran onto this ad from The Literary Digest..

Hey thanks LSG, thats great! I dont have a packet of these yet, I wonder if I would request a sample they would have some leftLenoirstreetguy wrote:Since we're in needle mode I'll post this ad from the Lenoirstreet archives. Attached is another sample card I obtained a while ago. Again, it's incomplete, but it will add to the information needed to complete research. The person I got it from had just sold a full card about a month before I got this one. A little to late. I appreciate the comments, it was like Christmas for me at Union show when I got it, made my weekend!
